Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff Attack: He is safe after unidentified men opened fire on his car in Mumbai’s Juhu area on Sunday evening.
What happened
The incident took place between 7:00 pm and 7:30 pm near Pushpa Park, under Juhu police station’s jurisdiction. Police say three to four rounds were fired at the car as he was leaving a ground. A large crowd had gathered, and the assailants allegedly fired from within it.
Is Tiger Shroff safe?
Yes. A senior police official said Shroff was not injured. His driver was hurt and has been admitted to Nanavati Hospital. An autorickshaw driver was also reportedly injured.
Gang claim under scrutiny
A social media post purporting to be from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility. Police have not verified it. The post alleged that Shroff ignored earlier warnings against working with actor Salman Khan.
These are claims made by the post, not findings by police. Gang-linked posts have been used to claim credit before, so wait for the investigation to confirm anything
What police are doing
Mumbai Police have launched a manhunt, and specialised teams are examining CCTV footage from the area. Police say the investigation is ongoing.
What we still don’t know
- Who the attackers are and whether the gang’s claim is genuine
- The full extent of the driver’s injuries
- Whether security around Shroff will be increased
This story is developing, and details may change as police release more information.
